sooooo.. are these extra workouts conducive to LPing the big 3? not hatin just sayin.
Squat is going to start getting real hard soon. I know I tried to do extra workouts, like goblets, blast strap rows, ity, prowler, etc and it got too be too much.
So I actually planned on doing a little write up about these on this post but got busy and just posted it. I'm calling it an "extra workout" but I'm not doing it for the stimulus. Its just to get loose. What I wanted to write after this post was how 20-25 minute kettlebell workouts feel amazing. I wear a heartrate monitor for all of them and keep things very moderate. Most sets are like 40-50% effort, if that. It just feels good after sitting all day. Its not HIIT or anything like that. I don't plan on upping the intensity or reps or anything.
And you certainly may be right... I'll see how it plays out. For now it just feels good to get warm and stretched out. In some ways, I kind of think it helps my recovery. I'd drop it in a heartbeat if I think its negatively impacting the barbell stuff. I'm lazy lol.
